Laptop gets off automatically when i try to scan hard disc

My laptop automatically gets switched off whenever i try to run anti-virus scan within 10-15 minutes of starting the scan. I have tried 2-3 different anti-virus products but always the same result. It doesn’t seem to be connected with heating issue as even if in this cold weather i run scan just after starting the laptop it will invariably gets off within 10-15 minutes of starting the scan, while if i don’t run scan it wont get off even for 2 days. I might be wrong but i feel whenever i do something important work on lappy it gets off more often.
What might be the reason and what should i do ?

go to the btton which fuqs ur pc up and then do/-nt press it

First off i would backup any data thats important then download a hard-drive testing app.. there should be a few on this forum somewhere, theres a good chance theres something wrong with the drive. If not do a defrag and try again.
