Laptop button stuck

Theres something beneath my CTRL button on laptop, thats why i cant properly press the button. How can i take off the button and then put it back without any problems? I dont want to break it…

On a normal keyboard (desktop) you can just lift it up and put it back once done. Not sure about laptop.. but could be same way.
But what is it thats stuck underneath it? Can you not tip ya laptop upside down?

gently pry the top and or bottom of the key with a knife or small screw driver

its easy to get them off, but its just a b***ard to get them back on
