Ipod Touch Problems

having problems, I have Itunes, do I need itunes 9 for it or no
It is plugged in doesnt not show in Itunes, any reasons why and can someone help
I turn it on and nothing

would be best if it’s all up to date im guessing.
if it doesnt show in itunes it could be a fake.
could be a connection problem.
does anything come up when you plug it into your computer ?
if you go on my computer, can you see your ipod under removable storage?

yeah it shows apple ipod picture, but wont show in my itunes

firstly i would try updating itunes. and restart your computer.

just wondering have you just bought the ipod using first time…
or have you used it, and it’s just started playing up.

Could be a firmware problem. You might have to wipe and restore ipod. If it isnt the connection then entering DFU mode is guarenteed to be seen by itunes. It’ll see it is in DFU mode then download the latest firmware and restore it to factory settings. To put it in DFU mode here is a link:

that is like itunes but you can put music (not sure about other files) onto your ipod and you can take them off.
COULD that work? i dont know…..
