Ipod speaker problems

Got some minimal water damage on my ipod, it was protected by my case.
Now the speakers are really quiet.
What’s the issue? This normal?

I had legit 5 drops on the back of the case, and 1 drop on the screen, which is protected by a screen protector.
Is Apple’s ~love~ THAT sensistive to water?

Nah, my was covered with beer (whole iPhone) and works like charm!

weird my ipod has been thru hell and back, kicked 100’s of times dropped 1000’s been piss wet thru and still worked. as much as i hate apple’s overpriced ~love~ they make some quality built things. tried letting it dry out overnight above a radiator ?

Try to put it in bowl with rice for a day…

Is earphones OK?
Try plugging ‘phones in and out a few times.
A hairdrier on low setting is good for drying out.
