iPhone question about jb and unlock

Ok i have jailbreaked my iPhone 3g 4.1 using sn0wbreeze 2.0.2
and it was already unlocked on baseband 05.14.02
I was wondering is this possible. Because i saw topics that you can jailbreak 4.1 but not unlocked it.

If you preserved your baseband from a previous iOS, you can unlock it. If not, you’re SOL.

If he have 4.1 FW on iPhone it doesn’t matter what model he have because he updated BB!

Can’t be unlocked AFAIK but, 4.1 can be jailbroke using limera1n. I upgraded my iphone 4 to firmware 4.1 2 days ago (latest firmware from apple) and then jailbroke it using limera1n.

limra1n worked for me first time, their was another program i tried first that didnt… Literally updated my iphone 4 to 4.1 and turned it off, started up limerain and followed the instructions. Took less than 5 minutes and it worked perfectly.

Nice to hear that!! I had my 3GS jb at 3.1.3 and then I restored it cos i heard about the limera1n coming out bt when it was out i heard from a lot of people that it was buggy. . .so its been almost a month for me with a normal iphone . . .
