IPhone 4s Question

This is my very first Apple product. I have just completed the Jailbreak process on my 4s and I have a few questions. I downloaded this app called Installous. My question is, what is the difference between downloading from Installous and from the Cydia sources? Im completely lost here. Can the seasoned Cydia users please guide me through on how to go about this. A few tips would help. Thanks in advance.

Apps from Installous are CRACKED APPS form iTunes Store (so all kinds of aplications and games). I would also suggest you to visit this website, called ApptrackR, it’t the very same place where Installous download it’s apps (same owner, so it will be much faster to download from that site straight to computer and then drag ‘n drop into iTunes)

Cydia apps are more like system apps (different tweeks and things, interface customizations, and system extensions , very handy, make your device far better). Also things you WON’T find in iTunes store you will find in Cydia

In order for me to install the games from Apptrakr, I have to firstly install AppSync from Cydia Hackulo.us is that correct ?
Am I able to get games from Cydia sources as well? Shall I just stick to downloading games from Apptrackr or Installous? Can I get ALL games from there?

Well you installed Installous so you already have AppSync (automatically installed by Installous).
No, there are no games on Cydia, you have Installous/ApptrackR for that. Yes, you can get ALL

Thank you so much for your help in this. I really do appreciate it. Just one final question, I am currently downloading Infinity Blade 1 via FileApe premium. Since I already have AppSync, do I just drag and drop the file via iTunes and then sync it?

Yap, that is correct (drag ‘n drop or double click on app and it will automatically import into iTunes). I would also suggest you to keep those IPA files (as backup) because if you import ’em to iTunes and delete right after it, during next Sync you will loose that app that is installed on your iPhone, so keep ’em in somewhere…
