I have a question about iPhone

August 8th, 2016

Lets say i bought a new iPhone (5s), is there a way to restore all apps and settings from old iPhone to the new one without having to redownload all the app manually and structure them manually ?
What i mean is, i want the same structure of my old iPhone to be in the new one, like i’m restoring from a backup.
How can i do this ? (if can, without iTunes)

Without iTunes I dont think you can, otherwise…
You could try restoring from iCloud backup when you restore (using iTunes)
OR
If you have a backup of your old iPhone saved with iTunes just restore the backup to your new iPhone

But will it restore all the installed app as well ? or i will have to redownload them from the app store again ?

Im pretty sure it’ll download all your apps for you (as long as you’re connected to wifi)
but it MAY not restore ALL your app data, only some (I think it depends which apps support iCloud backup)

If you do an iTunes sync it will restore the data on the phone.

I don’t care about app data, i only care that it will redownload all the apps for me automatically so i won’t have to do it myself, which will be a pain in the ass.
