IPB ‘IPS Driver Error’ When Trying To View Topics

August 5th, 2016

Hi,
I have an IPB Forum, which has run fine for almost a year now, and suddenly it displays an IPS Driver Error when I try to view topics. Its fine doing anything else on the forum, I can even view the topics in the ‘Lo-Fi’ format. Only when I view topics in ‘Full Version’ is when I’m having problems.
I haven’t tampered with any of the source files or installed any mods or skins.
Does anybody have any ideas what may be the problem, or how to fix it?
Thanks in advance

goto cache folder in ftp, and delete all the sql_error files, go bak to your site and cause the error, refresh ftp and there will be a new sql_error file, download that, and open in notpad and have a look at the error, it will tell you what is causing the error

IPS Driver Error isn’t much help. You need the exact error, do above ^

the problem most likely can be solved by going into acp and repairing all db tables i see this happen to forums all the time but this will only apply if you havent installed any mods or anything like that prior to getting this error and sometimes this is caused by a shell on your server
Answer #7
Well the ISP Driver error when trying to view topics is quite common after installing new modifications.
Do what said, but make sure you download the file immediately AFTER you try to access a topic, so your error is at the very end of the sql error file. Paste the last error here and we’ll see if we can help fix the problem.

A screenshot would help.
Go to your ACP and clear all cache..
Go to ACP > Security Center; Ensure you have a green check by them all.
Turn off Performance mode as well.
