iOS 7 won’t download
August 8th, 2016
I’m trying to update my iPhone 4S to iOS 7. I have 7GB of storage available and it’s plugged in, but it just won’t download the update. I’ve tried using iTunes and from the phone itself. At first it kept coming up with an error, and now the download just doesn’t seem to be progressing.
Any ideas? It’s so annoying seeing that no one on Twitter has had any issues updating.
have a read here although you may have already tried most of this but ??

Just try now and it’ll work (90% sure), its just that Apple’s servers were overloaded with thousands (if not millions) of people trying to download at the same time. I tried in the morning and it downloaded and installed fine, I did it through my iPhone!
Thank you both for your replies. I ended up setting it updating before I went to sleep… which was a bad idea because it meant that my alarm didn’t go off this morning, but it did update fine. Don’t know how long it took though.
I did predict that Apple’s servers would be overloaded, but I underestimated by how much. I just thought it would be really slow for an hour or two, but thinking about it, I shouldn’t have been so surprised.
Don’t think it was worth all the hype and trouble though personally
Yeah it was kinda over hyped, but its kinda a nice change from the same look we’ve had for years
There are some things that I dont really like, but oh well you cant have everything
There are some things that I dont really like, but oh well you cant have everythingI agree, although there are some things I liked about the old look that I think should have been kept the same, but I suppose it does look easier on the eyes. Overall I like it, I think :p
I am still keeping mine on IOS 6 until a jailbreak is available for IOS7, which I hear might be out soonish
