Where do i download an OS

Hey i download Windows Vista Ultimate from different Links on W-bb. I burnt the iso on CD and Installed it (fresh install) Then when the computer loads its very slow and keeps restarting and looping. Somehow eventually it works and then again if i turn it off or re-boot will loop again…
Is it the OS or the Computer!! zOmfg been doing this for the past 36 hours !
Can someone give me a link to a trust thing where I can download OS and guranteed it will work.

does it finish loading (the bar) then restart? If so that may be a sign of a dying HDD

First post your system specs…And if you just installed a new OS make sure you installed all the necessary drivers…Without them it will be slow and jerky…especially the chipset and the Graphics card drivers….

Yeah I installed and when the computer restarts it screws up…

How about your specs? Maybe your system can’t handle Vista…

well what happens if you try a repair install with the vista disc? lol btw i didnt realise it waz u

The PC has 4gb ram and 2.60 GHz Quad and 1gb mem on Video Card…. trust me idk if its the PC
Umm… I go in boot menu and boot from CD and the computer just runs normal

Wait im downloading another copy of Vista because that one is probably dodgy…
