Installing Macromedia Flash 8 on Windows 7.

Hello,
I need help with with installing Macromedia Flash 8.
For some reason, when the installer runs; it sits there for a bit, then without any warning, my computer automatically restarts without any files being installed at all.
I’m baffled by this at the moment, I’m using Windows 7 64-bits, when I was using XP and Windows 7 32-bits Flash 8 installed and ran fine.
I miss making animations, that’s all.
Thanks in advance, hope someone can help me with this problem.

Seems like Flash 8 is incompatible with Windows 7 64-bit.
