You can run a few games on it..But not the latest games…
You can add a graphics card…But not so sure if it’s AGP or PCI-e…Looks like AGP…But you can’t tell as the slot is half covered by cables…
Answer #2
Meh I don’t use an anti-static mat at all *smack smack to me* but you can get those anti-static strap things too.
Dust is a pain but it looks like yours isn’t too bad, I’ve seen way worse.
Get a new GFX card if it ain’t working. That or try to uninstall/reinstall/get new drivers.
Goodluck!
Answer #3
where is the graphics card supposed to be located in my computer?
Answer #4
No you don’t have a graphic card, your using onboard. You got a AGP slot where you put a graphic card in. AGP is old and obsolete technology, maybe 2-3 years ago they stopped using it.
It will be impossible finding a graphic card that will run todays game on it.
When I dust my comp I take the box outside and use one of those air spray cans you get from walmart in the computer section.
EDIT: From the picture you see that yellow metallic thing, thats called a heatsink, underneath it, is a brown slot, thats the AGP slot.
Answer #5
You should use some Q-tips and clean the fan of heat sink (dont remove heat sink or else you risk messing up processor), then use compressed air cans to blow stuff out. I dont see a graphics card there either its like said you have an onboard graphics. But you can either get an AGP card(brown slot) or PCI (white slot).
Dont worry about using anti static, i open up my computers in carpet floor and nothing bad ever happened lolz As long as you touch metal around and the PSU first then you be alright.
