Hi,
Im wandering is there a way to stop incoming connections? if someone connects to my pc and I know his ip adress? Is there a program or command for such a thing?

Answer #1
Firewall: A firewall is a part of a computer system or network that is designed to block unauthorized access while permitting authorized communications. It is a device or set of devices that is configured to permit or deny network transmissions based upon a set of rules and other criteria.
i.e. Comodo Firewall, Outpost Firewall, Zone Alarm

I always use ESET Smart Security for this.
If there are ANY connections that I don’t trust inbound/outbound I just block them from being send.

Answer #4
Should be no problem. I dont know anything about firewalls tho, i have Vaio laptop with win 7 and some standard firewall is active.

Anyway, you might have a problem if he uses proxy, if i am not totally wrong.

If you are behind a router, nobody is making any incoming connections on your computer unless you configure port forwarding.
