IDM and bypassing the auto download [sorted]

Is there an easy way of stopping IDM immediately offering to download a link.
Trying to download a rapidshare.de link. IDM offers to download it and fails cos rs.de and IDM don’t mix. What I want is the pop-up window which says save-to in it, so I can save the link to my desktop, but each time IDM wants to be the one doing the downloading.
So what do I do ?????

if its firefox, go to tools then add-ons and disable the IDM add on there

not currently firefoxing, but if ff lets me kill IDM when need be then I’ll reinstall it.

ok try this then. Open up IDM then the options button. Go to the General tab and un-check any boxes that has your browser in it under integrate IDM into browsers
