Ideas to uploading a rather huge file list

I have rather huge collection of 80k+ Ebooks and rougly 450 gb of music albums that id like to share on this site..
However I have a hard time figuring out how I should post this in a way that would be easy to browse through and sorted. Also I rather dread how I can keep up with dead links when I need to update the links.
Do you have any idea of how to setup such a huge thread list?
Seen as ebooks and music are not really big files.. you could set up your own ftp server on your computer, that way you dont have to upload, but it would be slow for the person downloading and you best have a nice ISP..
Yea though about running a ftp server, however my current internet speeds for uploads are rather bad, therefor id rather want to run it through rapidshare for instance, but then the problem with reuploading the constant dead links would bring me some trouble.
Hoped there was some sorta unique solution to sort this problem, like a program that constantly checked up on certain links and reuploading when time is.
that could be possible but you would still need to change the links on your posts Doubt there is any 100% automatic method
