I need some Legal Advice, US Citizens preferably

My friend has something similar to this that is located in the US, he says it is not illegal, but I want to know if it is or not. Can you tell me? Remember that my friend lives in the US and so is the server I think. The website does not host any files, but it does provide downloading links. Please tell me. Thanks!

It is in fact illegal as far as I know. Even linking to copyrighted material is most likely illegal. I do not live in the US but I can hazard a guess. Don’t forget that many sites and trackers were closed just for linking to copyrighted materials. Good luck mate ^_^

i dont think so as long as he is not hosting illegal stuff he should be good as im assuming he only index links kinda what google does

He is hosting links to donwload games, movies, music, ect… can someone definately look it up? and possible reply a link? That would be very helpful. A link stating that is infact illegal or legal would be perfect!
