i need help buying a tv

January 25th, 2020

i want to buy a new tv for my room. i will be using it for xbox, ps3 and watching movies. my rooms is small so i only want a tv around 26” – 32”. the tv i got now is 26″and goes up to 1080i but for sum reason i cant find any tv for sale now that states it works using 1080i
iam wondering though if any 1 can tell me is it worth buyin a a tv that is 26 to 32” in size that goes up to 1080p or is it not noticeable. most tv’s in that size range only have a resolution of 1366 x 768 (so this is 720p max i persume? or are they capable of 1080i?)
any help would be much appreciated

1080i is oldschool. 720p is way better than 1080i cuz of the progressive scan (more clear)
If you wanna go for 1080p, but you’ll be paying alot more than 720p and wont notice that much difference at that size (32″)
Other things to note are fequency (Hz)
Standard 50hz, Good 100hz, Awsome200Hz+ (Yes there is noticble difference between these factors.)
Contrast ratio’s also think to look out for.
If you’re in the UK you’re lookin at spending 350-500 for a decent tv. (of that size)

Or you could wait a bit and see what you can afford of the “new wave” of screens. (dont ask me what they are called :S) just know they are right around the corner and should be worth waiting for
