i hibernated vista last night and this morning :(

i hibernated vista last nite and this morning i saw a bouncing curse when i turned it on…
interesting things:
using hiren boot cd tools, i see that my vista partition is empty ( doesn’t show anything but it shows that there is space taken and there is free space.)
my other partitions are fine..can access them with no problem…
my guess is mbr virus or something like that..hdd regenerator hasn’t find bad sector……yet is there anything to do to avoid recovering-reformatting if i have to…what precaution should i take,,i’ve read this things can go to bios and store there…i f’ng had nod32 v4…
major tnx…
try to fix your instalation with vista installation disk.
from dos, linux live cd, some hiren tools…my vista drive shows nothing…
the installation disk recovery wouldn’t do any good…

you can re write MBR with it.
edit:
you need to start command prompt from recovery vista disk
and type:
bootrec.exe /fixmbr
bootrec.exe /fixboot
that should fix vista MBR
