I have a brand new ps3 and having dilemma of jailbreaking…

i have modified alot of ps2’s via hardware and so as psp’s.. been doing it for extra income here in our country…
this time i have my personal PS3 bundled with my new LED 3d tv that i bought just last week.. now im having a delima wether to jailbreak it or not…
i have lot of questions in my mind..
1. what are the advantages of having my ps3 jailbroken????
2. disadvantages of jailbreaking it??
3. can i restore it to its original firmware if i have jailbroken it???
4. will jailbroken ps3 be detected by SONY if its connected to net???
5. if youre me… whats it gonna be?? have it jailbroken or not??
btw, my ps3 firmware is 3.55 and i read that its quite easy to jailbreak this firmware….
so i really need your advice guys…

You will be detected fast online.
You will not be able to play allot of new games (there is now new firmware supporting games from the last half year or so)- (well last I checked)
Disadvantage – Cant go online.-
But can always go back to original.
Jup needs to be 55 or lower to be able to do it.
Id rather say you should by a 360 and flash that.
Easier to handle and with the upcoming FW its gonna be able to play all games again.

what do you mean detected fast online??
so xbox 360 is much better than ps3??
