Help with brand name
March 17th, 2019
You may ask why I came here for help. 1) I currently have a successful brand for guitar, but I know need it to include piano and vocals. 2) I got hacked last year and even though Google has lifted the warning on my site, I suffered SEO loss that I just can’t recover from. Re-branding is my only option
3) I won’t share my site, as I don’t want it to affect your idea of what a good name is
4) I’ve been hashing out names for months now with my SEO team and creative team and have come up short. I’m looking for something that adults and young students alike would be interested in, as my student base is divided between the two. Something that speaks to how we really customize the learning experience to ensure musical success. Their were a few ideas we liked with the word Rebel, Rebellion, and Republic in them, but sadly they .com’s were taken. We felt that those words really work with going against the grain of how things are normally done.
Anyways, thanks for your help and consideration. Let me know if you need any more info to contribute
Cheers!
P.S. I know my name is Rokstar, but I actually went to school for Jazz I don’t discriminate against any styles and have played almost every major style of music professionally at some point.
1) Contact an agency specialising in branding and marketing, not a board
2) Rebrand
3) Profit!
You’re looking in the wrong place
Already working with one, but thanks. Problem is, a lot of branding agencies are that great with home grown businesses and are too focused on making you a corporate entity. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with asking a board, or parenting group, or home reno board. The fact is the best people to ask about brands influence, are the people buying the product. I’m not expecting a solution here, I’m hoping for some creative thinking on what appeals and doesn’t appeal to people. Think of it as a focus group;)
