How to use a PS3 controller on Latptop

How do I use my Ps3 controller on my laptop? some one please help!

the ones i have from my PS3 dont work with my computer.. Only the Xbox one… Go figure..
But.. if the PS3 is conected to computer then they work.. But I dont like the PS3 because its too F***in slow..
