Answer #1
which modi are the card and the monitor supporting ? ^
DVI-D (digital only)
DVI-A (analog only)
DVI-I (integrated, digital & analog)
Answer #2
i think my screen(ag neovo m-17) is dvi-d
i dont know about my video card (msi 4850 t2d512)
Answer #3
is there more that one plug on the back of the monitor
if so then you may have to select “input type” in the monitor’s OSD options
Answer #4
yes i do that but then it says no input and it goes back to vga
Answer #5
you have both connected ? VGA & DVI
Answer #6
yes
Answer #7
Try another cable. See if you got DVI > VGA adapter and use it on DVI port with VGA cable. If it works you’ll know the cable is a problem or the DVI port of the monitor
Answer #8
disconnect the VGA one then
see if you can force the card to output DVI
and it did work for windows vista
you'll know the cable is a problem
that was with the same cable in vista that it worked
Answer #9
yes i used the same cable but i have all drivers installed from the cd…
Answer #10
