How to unlock my phone…?

I have a LG Chocolate Touch vx8575 and I want to know how to unlock it? I looked online and they said to you have to switch to a incompatible sim card and then put in the code. What code are they talking about?

well its an unlocking code you could get from your service provider but it will cost you… buying the tools to unlock your phone will cost you ALOT more than just the unlocking code. So i suggest you could call up your service provider and ask for the code… in Australia if you been with the same company service provider for atleast 6 months you could get it for free.

how many digits is it? if it’s 4 im going to do 0001 – 9999. probably going to have to do it 9999 times LOL..
