Everytime I record dazzle using my composite cables the quality is so bad. It looks static-like or something like refresh rate. How do I increase the quality?

The quality bebfore capturing is MUCH better.
I am recording using a USB 2.0 from my dazzle, using pinnacle studio 14 HD
Not HD, composite. I know it’s bad quality, but it shouldn’t be this bad. It can be fixed using vegas, but vegas makes huge file outputs.
Answer #4
what format are you caping to ?
Virtualdub is the cleanest front end of any caping app I’ve seen, if you want to use DIVX/AVI
the preview will give you close to what you get using DIVX on single pass 3 or 4 with deinterlacing
an SD frame is around 640×480 (or 576) @60fps interlaced
It looks static-like or something like refresh rate.
do you have deinterlacing enabled in your software settings ?
