How to disable gmail diffrent location security check?

I recently have been using a VPN, but since i can change my I.P address, gmail keeps asking me to enter my mobile number so they can send a text for security purposes…
I am unable to skip this process, so i entered my number. I later tried to remove this security check by following the step here: http://www.india365.org/disable-remove-gmail-security-code-check/
but it still does not remove it!!!! ….anyone know how resolve this??

You could always log out of the VPN to access Gmail, then it won’t happen.
