How to change boot priority without having + and – buttons

September 3rd, 2013

i am trying to install win7 from usb. in order to do that you know what i have to do already. but i don’t have + and – buttons on my laptop and that’s what required for moving them up and down. so is there anyway to do it with cmd prompt or can i just change the buttons setup for bios?
thanks

Answer #1
Remove two buttons and replace instead of + and –
After you finish job, just replace buttons again!
Answer #2
You tried U/D ? (Space bar to select)
Doesn’t it say in the BIOS which buttons to use ?
I’ve never heard of a laptop with no +/-
Answer #3
i don’t know how to remove buttons.
my laptop has + and – but they can be reached by pressing shift, they’re on the number like 3 and 4.
i also tried space and pg up and pg down.

Press shift and press those buttons. Come on.

can you use the Fn key combo to “activate” number lock
or the lappy have a boot menu key (maybe F12) on the boot screen where you select your boot device
or can you get a keyboard to use for the install
