How much difference in ddr3 and ddr5?

Well, im getting a hd6670 at the price of a ddr5 hd5670… but the hd6670 is ddr3.. whats the diff between ddr3 and ddr5? how much will it boost my performance?

dont you mean gddr5? and gddr5 is much better

For that card, the performance wont differ. The GDDR5 version will run cooler and use less power though.

Yes GDDR3 is expensive because it’s been largely out-phased by GDDR5.

Even GDDR5 is getting slowly phased out by XDR2, what age we live in.
