How does pay to read more sites work
August 4th, 2016
i am not much into websites and stuff so i don’t know much. Cud anyone tell me how does sites like
www.askmefast.com
work.
i mean like half the answer is readable and then you have to login or pay some amount for reading further
can anybody briefly explain.
Thanks so much.
Your question is too vague:
do you mean how do they work – technically?
or
do you mean how do they work in am internet or social sense?
it’s as if WBB had a forum section – off topic, lets say, that was open to anyone.. but they charged a membership fee to access helpdesk.
*****
It’s something of a con anyway – all of the info they have is just stuff collected form elsewhere, then they charge for access to it.
It’s for lazy people who can’t be bothered with a proper Google search (with + to ensure a word is counted and – to remove a word from searches)
no better than a survey-to-download website.
Just more crap to avoid, basically!
@…yes i mean technically how does it work…
Probably just a login like here, but here is free to register.
Imagine it like Uploaded – you have to pay the get access to UL premium – and you get access to “answers” instead of hosted files.
(The deeper nitty gritty of HOW a paid-access site works is for a NetTech to answer.. and the full answer is probably quite complex).
when you pay they give you a account and you sign in thats how it works, you keep paying and you can acess their articles, happens all the time when i read news on google news links it gives me links to pay to read news sites like the christian journal.
ok thanks everyone….very helpful….
