how can i boot from mounted drive ?

Hi is there a way to boot from a mounted drive to install windows ?

Make that drive bootable, and tap the key to choose boot device during boot, or set it in the bios.

so its possible to use mounted drive as bootable disk ??
well I have a windows 7 iso now I mounted on a drive but can’t find any option in BIOS about mounted drive called “H” drive can u please help me…?

Oh, you mean a mounted iso, not a mounted drive. You need to put it onto something your BIOS can see, like a usb stick or dvd.

well I have usb stick but usb port not working in my laptop always shows blue screen when I insert usb stick so there is another way to install win 7 iso ?

Yeah i see what you mean now it may not work maybe if you created a small partition never done it so not sure.

PXE Boot is what you are looking for. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preboot_Execution_Environment
You need another computer to do this.
