sata drive is ticking.no boot please help

my sata drive is ticking and there is no possibility to boot the system .any ideas ?

Put it in another pc and try to access the files you want, ticking hdd = dying hdd, so you’ll have to buy a new one.

Nah, this wouldn’t explain the ticking sound, this might result in the hdd not spinning constantly, but ticking sounds are ussualy the signs of a dying hdd

is there a way to recover the data ?thought about putting it in the freezer to cool of?

The only way is what you mentioned..The freezer trick…And might or might not work…Or you take it to data recovery firm..That cost a lot..
