Problem. If you are using a Limited/Normal account it will ask for the administrative password. Password protect your admin acount and make a limited one and give it a shot, i guarentee it wont work.
+1 dude this is cool, but i think i got something better. Change the pass of the actual administraters.
Information:
This is a utility to (re)set the password of any user that has a valid (local) account on your NT system.
You do not need to know the old password to set a new one.
It works offline, that is, you have to shutdown your computer and boot off a floppydisk or CD. The bootdisk includes stuff to access NTFS and FAT/FAT32 partitions and scripts to glue the whole thing together.
Will detect and offer to unlock locked or disabled out user accounts!
It is also an almost fully functional registry editor!
Windows Admin Hack allows you to reset the administrator password on
Windows 2000/XP.
The ISO must be burned to a CD or Flash drive.
When it is booted, a mini version of linux starts which allows the
administrator password to be reset. useful if you need to work on a
machine the password is unknown.

But at school run is disabled…
Btw doesnt work . Only if you’re admin.
Answer #14
Guys guys guys,
A little bit stupid, mostly the PC’s in a school/company are part of a domain, in most cases the local admin is disabled, with this you need to have already “admin-rights” to become a member of the group “Administrators” which contains normally only one user: “Administrator”.
This won’t work…
Think a little bit… You think a little “whizzkid” (not even that…) could outsmart Microsoft ? Knock yourself out…
Answer #15
It won’t work on a domain as said before because the server owns your security not your local machine. And even if you get a hold to the local admin account on a domain you won’t be able to get around the filter if there is one.
Answer #16
BS!
Answer #17
Yeah sorry but this is pretty lame. And its hardly undetectable! The other admin can just look at who is part of the Admin group.
Answer #18
Dude… if you were able to add yourself to the admin group, it means you were already an admin. Otherwise it tells you “access denied”. You have accomplished nothing.

Ok lets start with you. I am no “wiz kid” and this isnt microsoft we are fighting atm, it’s the IDIOTS involved in public education. i can guarentee at least 95% of people on bb are smarter than my school’s com-tech teacher.
and as for whoever said “holy poop will this work” about the proggy i posted, (too lazy to quote)
it will, and it did. i used it on my school’s computer and changed a teacher’s login password, went into their account, and messed around with some stuff for 5 mins or so then left the library. you could probly make yourself an admin, but you;d have to make a few people admin so they wouldnt just see one student administrater. that’d get you caught.
Also, , who said it was undetectable?
Answer #20
well doesnt work….I tried in my school labs today….It pops up “ACCESS IS DENIED”
Answer #21
@jessuper: it says in the description line “without anyone knowing”. I just said undetectable cos its shorter. But if you’re going to change passwords (which is stupid) you should just crack the password. It will take you maybe 15 minutes MAX. And you don’t even need to be at the teachers computer for more than 1 minute of that. And if you’re at school, once you have Admin rights it takes like 2 minutes to change the domain admin password (which is also stupid) or another 15 minutes if you want to crack the domain admin password …
His trick only worked cos there was no restrictions in the first place

Yeah, i know those boot cd’s, but shall i tell you something? If you got a decent network, there is a domain with an AD.
The admin of an Ad (or domain) is stored on a server, the Active Directory Server. The ISO you are talking about is to crack the local admin account, and the authentification of a user in a domain (like another student or a teacher is based on the AD-server, not on the local pc), so you can change settings locally, install programs, play games, but no one will have those games installed in their start menu for example if they log on with the AD credentials

works dont flame upon something u dont even have knowledge about. It works fine (I have done this years ago). I prefer doing this: cmd -> net user Adminisrtator mypass.
Answer #24
i dont have user accounts on the window i get from clicking manage
Answer #25
If you are able to change your account type to be an administrator, your network admin should be hung by his/her thumbs. As sort of said, if you think you are going to bypass Microsoft’s security, good luck. There is a huge difference between being an admin on the local computer and being an admin on the network server. Being an admin of your own computer is not going to give you admin rights on the server.
Answer #26
thanks i will try myself
Answer #27
This can also be done if u r interested in programming.
Save this in a notepad file with the extension as “.bat” and then double-click on it!
A new username by the name of “Admin” will be created without a passwrd for your login.
@echo off
net user Admin /add /expires:never /passwordreq:no
net localgroup "Administrators" /add Admin

Answer #28
