Horror Movie Help

imdb should be able to tell you all that
I got the movie Insidious the other date and rate it highly for a horror. It was very good! There is 3 of them now, but ive only seen the first one so cant tell if the sequels are any good.
Ya i seen 1 and 2, im just looking for more ghostly haunting like true stories.. and Ch3vr0m thanks for the help *not*

i cant find much on google lol its always the same movies posted that ive seen or its ones form 1980 which are terrible lol
i hope this is the right place but.. Can anyone tell me what good ghost, haunting, and based on true or true events movies are there? i know there is about a million out there Ive seen a lot. but i want to see some real good ones.. like amity house and movies like that

first of all , those true event things are generally false or tweaked. i understand what you meant when you said google always showing the same things. when you watch too many horror movies , you need to make a narrow search on imdb and find some movies with rating between 4 and 6 , most of them are bad but some are surprisingly good. i can give you some less known and also old movies which are not as bad as you claim but you certainly want only based on real events ? or other less known paranormal movies would be ok which doesnt have a tag “based on true events” when it starts ? keep in mind , most of those to make people excited
or you meant that you want movies either ghost and haunting or based on true events movie in general as separately ? cuz if you want haunting movie which is also based on real events and also good movie , there is no more than 10 movies that falls in that criteria.
Last comment ill make in this thread lol.. But, I was after some ideas for horror movies, before getting insideous, and found a well liked popular movie (cant remember which one) and in IMDB there is discussion where people talk about the movie (bottom of page), or similar ones.. (Hence why I decided to get insideous because it was rated highly by many). Maybe find one your well liked moves/shows, and people will have ranked similar shows which could point you in a right direction..

i know there isnt like a real true movie out there.. but some events in the movie may be true.. but idk im just fascinated by ghost and hunting’s .. like paranormal, progegist idk if i spelled that right.. but like the omen, and movies liek that.. i didnt find insitidous that good it seemed kind of lazy lol i havent seen 2 or 3 im about to watch 2 on netflix.. hopefully its better but i have my douts.. but ya i like movies kind of like haunted houses.. paranormal. unexplained things.. i use to watch the TV series of liek ghost hunters and other ones liek that but u can tell when some are faked.. and the shows dont last long maybe 2-5 seasons.. it sucks lol idk ima wrap this up.. so ya paranaomal.. progegiest (if i spelled that right again lol) typoe of moveis.. demon, stuff like that
ok then as i understand it doesnt necessarily be based on real story, you interested in that genre in general especially the ones which are not real story but happening of them possible. i will write a long list of movies when i have some time since it requires to go through hundreds of movies.
i dont like tv series in general , they are not my type. i also didnt like conjuring and insidious as much as they are praised. communities have sympathy towards james wan ‘s horror movies so they get generally high rating. i dont say they are bad , they are good but not as good as they are praised.
There’s a movie that was supposedly based on a true story back in 1982 that scared the beejeezies out of me if you havn’t seen it, call The Entity. I highly suggest it if you can still find it anywhere.
