help with converting movie to avi

need help converting a downloaded movie lincoln [rar file] cannot convert to avi with allok converter or with convert x most of movies r coming out like this what can i do

i have winzip but it does not let me unzip it it just looks like a small white sheet

It has to be mp4?
I think what the problem may be is it could be only the one file and they don’t realize it needs unpacking. I think if people upload to PL it needs to be in rar or it will just stream.

I’ve always used 7zip. First thing i found that was portable and never had any problems.

Sounds like the file is incomplete, they tend to show like that when they are still PART file.
