go into the bios and look for FSB (front side bus) speed
being an e-machine it may not be there
it’s 266 now (266×7=1866(1.8))
bump it 5 MHz save and reboot
that work repeat till it don’t work
then set it 10 MHz below “don’t work” level
be sure to keep the CPU temp below 45 @ idle (temp2 above I think)
in everest look under “sensors” for temps
and your mobo temp is 45 (temp1 above I think)
that looks a lil high but I’m not that familiar with VIA mobos
BE SURE YOU KNOW HOW TO CLEAR THE BIOS WITH THE JUMPER ON THE MOBO just in case
Answer #5
That is one hell of an overclockable CPU; however your motherboard doesn’t have the necessary features for it.
Look up the BSEL mod if you’re interested since it might be the only way out.
Answer #6
Give the following values
At FSB 333X7
F10 and Y
and then check whether your PC is working Fine and check with Cpuz… look at your core speed
and run Speedfan… post the results here
Answer #7
40 degrees is usually a bit hot for idle. Possibly you need to swap the cooler, this is done after you can overclock some.
