Help Choosing a TV
August 5th, 2016
Im looking for a new TV ive come into some money and wanting to upgrade ive had a 36 inch sony bravia for the last 7 years and has served me well it is still working but i think im going to use it as a pc monitor.
Just want to ask a few questions
I was looking at a 3d tv but they still seem abit pricey. I hear the samsung smart tv’s are pretty good and i have a samsung phone so goes well really. Can you get the smart tv’s in normal HD non 3d ?
Also is 3d really worth it or is it best to just get a top of the range full 1080p HD tv.
Can anyone recommend a decent tv as i am a sky customer and know i can get better out of my HD package.
willing to spend up to 450 – 500
A bit more than your budget, but a good TV…(smaller screen = cheaper)

i bought a 3d tv almost 3 years ago and i love it…its a samsung with a smart tv built in, its great how everything is built into it its amazing honestly the 3d selection on here isnt the best but on torrents and megashares (which is what i use) theres alot of SBS mkv files….i mean if its out of your range and you arent really into 3D i wouldnt get it and save the $. but some movies do look amazing.. if you have a android phone tho you can download this app i cant remember what its called it pops up on the tv and if you download the android app whatever is on your phone will be displayed on your tv which seems pretty cool…hey just my 2 cents!
Looks good Flawless i really want one and i get Sky 3D at no extra cost so might be worth it
so might be worth putting the extra towards one
Gazman that looks a nice tele and for the price

Worth looking at John Lewis if they do a tv you interested in they will price match the best price you can find then you get a free 5 year warranty(included in the price on all John Lewis tv’s)and their customer service is regarded as the benchmark that most business’s aspire to.Also worth looking here used them a couple of times no problems and quick deliveryhttp://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/home.html

Ok so up to now im going to go with this TV unless anyone has any better suggestions
i seen this one in PC World the other day and thought it looked great and the picture quality was amazing.
maybe Samsung? Mine plays all movie formats from usb hard drive. even vob. and mkv.
and avi,mp4,mpg,3gp,divx. and a bunch more.. Flv’s is the only file that it won’t play.
Dvd’s are obsolete on my tv.
You can buy LG Smart 3d TV. It is the best 3d TV among all. But if you want to go for much technology, buy Samsung Smart 3d TV it got the best features but the 3d is of LG is much more good.
Ill stick with the LG thanks
