HDMI: PC to TV

February 1st, 2020

I want to connect my pc to tv. So first i used the hdmi cable. I have a graphic card so i connected one end of the cable to graphic card and other end to tv. Now i see ‘unsupported device. Please check the device output’ message on the tv. So tried to boot my pc from safe mode to change resolution. I can now see the output on tv but whole screen is tinted with red colour. Checked if there was any lose connection but everything was right. So what could be the problem? Is their any settings problem? or hardware? Please help…

you have the latest drivers from the mfg website installed for your video card ?
in the video control panel. is there a “color space” option you can change ?
you try another monitor to see if it works on that
or another input to the TV ?

I connected to another monitor. Same thing happened. And i used a vga cable from graphic card to tv, that works very much fine.
Regarding the drivers… I should download new ones..

did you look in the video drivers control panel to see if there’s a “color space” or “color format” setting
