I’ve got a hdmi cable and I need to check if it’s version 1.2 or 1.3, how can I check it?

It’s for tv, ps3, dvd, xbox, pc, all kind of stuff… I need to check what version the cable is.

sometimes says it on the cable. if u know the make of the cable google it as some retail sites say what version it is

Just says hdmi, nothing more. There should be some way the version check tho.

there really isnt any other way to tell apart from checking witht he manufacturer it came from. there really isnt many differences between all the revisions the main difference is the bandwidth. if you brought the cable recently cheap from a retail shop its most likely a 1.3 revision
