HDMI in Computer Question

July 26th, 2016

I just ordered a HDMI cable (since I got GTX 275) I got free converter from DVI to HDMI so why not use it. I wanted to ask will everything look much better then with normal DVI? when I for example watch movie wirelessly using my PS3 streaming movies via Windows Media Player regular XVID looks so much better.
If anyone knows I would like the help

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface
or in short terms:
dvi is “the same” as hdmi
except: hdmi aditionally transmits audio signals, dvi does not
that should answer your question, however, i do not like “my explanation” (but it should give the idea)

So why is that on my ps3 when I’m streaming movies via HDMI + Windows Media Player it looks so much better then on PC. Well I will just have to wait and see thanks anyway
Answer #3
hm, graphics card and monitor/tv are not the same? lol
otherwise, if you mean vga & hdmi i am sure you will notice a huge difference while using the same hardware.

I got Monitor + TV at the same time I have like 4 HDMI connectors
1. PS3 -> HDMI -> MONITOR (HDMI #2)
2. What I want now PC -> HDMI -> From Graphics Card To -> HDMI #3
You get what I mean now > ? it’s same monitor just many HDMI’s
