HDD can’t detected by system, how to recover it

hi all,
i had PC at work, 2nd HDD is not responding even i change the cable, connect it on another PC but still can’t detected it to recover my data. is there any solution / chance to have data back? please help.

Well it’s very important to listen to the HD and see if it’s spinning before determining what’s the next action to take..

Wrap the HD in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer overnight. This helps to loosen up internal components (read head etc). Then put it back in your PC when you take it out of the freezer ….. This is a tried and tested method that often works but is not guaranteed.
You could also try using a different power cable (PSU to HD that is) and a different SATA cable, also try a different SATA port on the motherboard.

might be a raw disk try disk management or diskpart in windows if it is then run a recovery program to recover lost files. old IDE drives require master & slave configuration.

Freezer method works but, my PC detect it but after few minutes again the same problem, now PC can’t detect it.
I put in freezer for at least 10 hours.

That tells you the hd is on it’s way out..
If the freezer method works just enough to backup your data..Then Get it done as soon as possible..
