Has anyone ever got gears of war to work?

Install of the patches, use some no cd cracks, same error, it needs to be closed bs. If i buy this game for 30 bucks, will i have the same problems?

shouldnt if you remove all traces of the patches

Depends on the error and your system specs. Also whether you download from trusted uploader. Look at the feedback from the thread if many users comment it working then it should be working.
