[SOLVED]Gears of war – Help

just finish downloading and installing gears of war and when it installs i get this error COG_Grunt_Fraggrenade.upk.com. does not exist so i click ignored and the rest of the installation was a success then when i try to play it i get this error

please any help at all would be great, just downloaded the game took me ages.. dont want it to go to waste thanks azza
i solved it by changing my date to 27th jan 2008

nah i havnt update the game, how would i go about updating it??

As far as I’m concerned I can never run the game after installing..Updating fixes the problem for me…Worth a shot..

Did you crack the game already?
It’s obvious but I had to ask…Because that will interfere with the update…

yeh i did, but i can always re install again lol.. ill start from fresh and you explain how to update it, thanks heaps.

Ok…If you don’t fancy reinstalling I can upload the original files..Anyway..
The link I gave above once extracted..Contain 2 folders..A Patch and a ViTALiTY folder…From the Patch folder..Run the GearsTU.exe…That will update your game…After updating..Copy the file in the ViTALiTY folder to your install folder…
Run the game and see if it fixes the problem…

Yeah , something has gone wrong during cracking process. It knows it’s been cracked and it doesn’t like it!

i had this too, you just need to download & install the update or setting ur clock before a certain date works too, i dont know what date it is, it was something in the first month of 2009

u got to change ur system date to any day before January 27 2009 or 2008 i don’t remember.. and start the game again

How can i save my game progress tho it saying i have to be signed in. how do i go about doing that?

u hav to sign in as offline and as you reach the checkpoints it will save automatically….enjoy the game..
