Harddisk making noice ?

i have a old Sata hard disk of my pc ,it making noice … how to fix it ???
and any idea how this problem occurs ?
and how to check this life of you hard disk any software name ?

HD making more noise than it had been doing previously is an indication that it’s on the way out.
It’s good idea to frequently backup important data until you replace it.
If you do replace it you can still make use of it as secondary storage area to keep stuff that isn’t too important on.

I’ll post here as there’s no point in posting in a duplicate topic…
If a hdd is making noise (clicking, grinding, etc), replace it. That’s most likely hardware failure and it’s bound to completely stop working soon. Drives are too cheap now to risk it.

Backup all important files ASAP !!!!! And just buy a new hard drive as the one that you have might not last much longer.
