GTA IV too slow….

I have got GTA IV(Grand Theft Auto IV)which needs a high end PC.But it works fine on my pc and is too slow…It lags………….Please say some softwares which can make the game fastest?Please reply….

Make the game faster? Well what are you specs? Its most likely you don’t have the hardware to make it run at its best. Try lowering graphics settings.

Yeah i did lower the graphics settings…but lowest and highest give same FPS
My specs are:
2gb DDR RAM
XFX Nvidia GeForce 8500GT(1GB)DDR2 graphics card
AMD Sempron 2800+
then what else needed for gaming?

1> Uninstall and clean game files&folders.
2> Apply patch 1.0.1 , 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 [ you can download them from gta4 official site ]

well mate, there is no such like a program improve the game performans… [ There are a lot of programs but all programs aren’t good ]

bro to make ur game fast just use game accelarator pro it makes all the work which some guy explained before
but remeber
only pro softwares are good others are waste

I used game accelerator pro, but there isn’t any huge performans differences…

lol @ your processor!!!
Better upgrade your PC.
Else do the following:
1. Defrag your HDD regularly.
2. Before playing GTA IV, close the unnecessary programs like MSN, Xfire, Daemon Tools or whatever running @ your tray.
3. Exit your antivirus program.
4. Use Tune up utilities and clean up everything in your HDD and then uncheck the unwanted startup programs.
5. Go to Task manager and go to process and find out any other prog running @ the background and exit all those shits.

Not even the fastest Quad core CPU and the fastest SLI card can run GTAIV at max setting, it’s just badly optimized.

Is your cpu a SINGLE core? If so, there is nothing that anyone can say for you that will help your computer run the game smoothly ENOUGH for it to be enjoyable, im sorry to say, but this game is very intensive.
Step 1: Remove any cd or dvd drives from your pc, Done yet?... ok once this is done, carry on to step 2.
Step 2: Un plug all the wires from the back of the pc, remove any flash drives, it may also be a good idea to remove any thing like, Wifi cards from inside your pc.. sound cards, etc.
Oh, and remove your hard drives if they aren't ancient, if they're ancient then leave them in.
Step 3: Pick your computer up and take it to the nearest window, and throw it outside. If your window cannot open far enough, then break the window by throwing the computer at it, this may take a few goes, and i suggest that you throw it with all your might!
Step 4: Buy a nice new high end powerful computer and install Windows Xp, or Vista.
