Nfs the run very slow!

i have a problem with my nfs-the run!!
i have fairly good pc
4 gb ram
core2do 3.6 ghz
240 gt 1 GB
but the game is very slow!! the access is very fast but the game itself is very slow!!
any suggestions?

If u use nvidia goto nvidia control panel and select High performance Nvidia processor before playing. Make sure u close all programs and play the game.

Keep in mind also that Need for Speed The Run is locked at 30 Frames Per Second on PC.

If you are playing on High settings then try turn it down to Medium and disable some settings that you may not need
