Graphics Card Help

April 3rd, 2014

I was wondering if I should bother upgrading from on board graphics to a cheap graphics card. I don’t really play games I just surf the net, do a bit of music production and watch films.

In my system I built I have a
Intel e5700 3Ghz Overclocked to 3.75Ghz
4Gb Ram
Gigabyte G41MT-D3 motherboard
750w PSU
500Gb Sata Hard Drive
750Gb Sata Hard Drive

Im just looking for a bit of basic info to see if I should get this as Im not clued up on some stuff like graphics cards.
The card Im looking at is

If someone could get back to me it would be great & thanks in advance.

Are you familiar with the phrase “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”?
Answer #2
I’d say it’s worth it.
If you want to run more than one screen and take advantage of any boost gpgpu could give you in other apps.
Or any other kind of 3d thing that you would run into problems with if using the onboard graphics.
Better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have it lol
Though it’s better to not have a gun and not need a gun really

I have to agree with prozac4312,Just because one can afford buying X product it doesn’t mean he should,It’s all about
usage,And in your case it’d be a waste of money indeed.
