Good Antivirus that doesn’t need REACTIVATING
February 1st, 2020
Antivir,
rated best free antivirus.
Heeter
NOD32.
Even though it does need re-activating every now and again, it takes about 20 seconds to do so as all you need to do is copy a username and password from a site such as
http://www.nod32keys.com/
avg will need reactivatiing once in a while but its good till 2018 thats hard to beat and i love it…search for avg 2018 on here youll find it

Try out Microsoft essentials or Antivir.
thank you guys for many suggestions..
i think i’ll go with Antivir Premium it has many features..
avira—been using the same key for months now
i just go with AVG free actually. VIRUS FREE for like a year and half – 2 years.
But maybe you can find some inspiration in my sig.
Kaspersky Internet Security. By far, the best.
AVG I’ve seen viruses disabling them
NOD32 is annoying, and not efficient
BitDefender is a false-positive giver
AntiVir… it’s an antivirus with no name, I’ve used it and had issues with viruses.
KIS, I’ve been using for around a year, fast, simple, quick scan, secure… hell, it’s friggin good
Use trial, then use a resetter every 30 days (to make the resetter work is a <1 minute thing)
If you don’t find one good resetter, PM me and I’ll send ya one

You not hearing about a software doesn’t mean its a no-name one. Avira is highly respected , just google and see what people say about it. I don’t care about reviews but you will almost always find good reviews about Avira from different testing companies.
And no software, no matter how good it is, can provide 100% protection. You getting infected while using one doesn’t mean it’s a bad product.
Btw a simple forum search would have yielded tons of answers on the topic. Avira and MSE are good choices, coupled with a solid firewall like Comodo.

just seams to me your a Virus magnate. heh’
I’m a computer technician, I take my living from it. All suites have given me problems but KIS, so I recommend it to everyone

I’ve had them. Comodo is rock solid, really, but it’s an independent software, thus taking resources and needs independent configuration. Avira AntiVir is.. I don’t know what to say, it’s a somewhat protection. Don’t know about you, but my computer is stable, rock solid and FAST with KIS, and I install infected HDD’s and pendrives on this machine almost everyday.

Like I said, I install infected Hard Disks and pendrives here for maintenance. Unlike most of the technicians around here, I take formatting seriously, and as a last resource.
avast free edition. it gets the job done if you aren’t stupid when it comes to using the internet, heh.
You can use nod32 with the 67 year key (check the apps section)!

Avira+Comodo needs uses less resources than KIS. Setting its configuration may prove hard at start but once you got the hang of it, it’s really simple.

We agree there. I don’t like formatting, at all.
I don’t mean KIS is bad. I have used it and still am using it in some of my machines. What I am trying to say is all of those suites and combination of programs will fail somewhere, unless the user is careful. So using isolated cases where someone has became infected is not a good way of evaluating protection software, you may find a virus the software doesn’t find (1%), however say it recognizes the other 99%. Numbers are made up.
