Try Avira. It’s a lightweight program. You won’t be disappointed.

Another day… Another same topic. WTF is wrong with the SEARCH button ???? There must be 1000’s of these posts now.
I’m up for helping people… but I can not be bothered to reply to these same topics EVERYDAY!! Today “Avast” – Tomorrow “Avast” – Next day “Avast” etc etc… Why should I ??
Typing my own personal favourite Antivirus everyday isn’t going to help anyone.
Just look at all these topics in the helpdesk area – Search Terms – “ANTIVIRUS”

WHEN IS SOMETHING GOING TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS !!!
Answer #9
I would suggest you to install Eset Nod32 Smart Security.
I am using and I am happy with that !!
Answer #10
for sure Eset Smart Security 5..!!
light & effective & not pesky
Answer #11
@ ashley. calm down, i was asking specificly for my system, due to it been low ram and cpu. ive already searched through wbb and most are different results, i was only asking for something that was good with low cpu usage.
ive desided to stick with avira for now anyway, it seems to be ok. bit slow on scanning but seems to be better than mse.
Answer #12
try ESET SS it’s lightweight
Answer #13
why hate norton?
for me is either norton internet security or kaspersky internet security.
Answer #14
i think norton just uses too many system resorces, last time i had it on it used to just crash everything, the av its self used to crash, once removed everything was fine.
got nothing against norton, im sure its brilliant but for me, it just didnt work
and kaspersky i have downloaded but saving it incase avira doesnt stop viruses. (only a free one)
and 4one, il have a read up on eset as ive never used it before
Answer #15
avast! free
Answer #16
i am using norton internet security . its great works for me.
Answer #17
Go for ESET or Microsoft Security Essentials.
Answer #18
Norton is a piece of…
I’ve used it in the past, never again.
For the past years (!) I’ve been using ESET Smart Security and I think it’s the best thing out there.
Never seem to use a lot of resources and detects probably any virus/worm/…
It also notifies you immediatly if a program might be unsafe.
I’d definatly recommend it to anyone, no matter what PC specs you have.
From what I’ve seen ESET is better in detecting virusses then (most) other competitors.
Just upload different infected stuff to http://www.virustotal.com and see how many times ESET detects it while others sometimes don’t.
Answer #19
Go for Bitdefender security it has antivirus, firewall, antispam and much more I have just started using it coming from ESET and gotta say its good so far.
Answer #20
ESET NOD32 Antivirus + Malwarebytes Anti-Malware PRO = Efficient + Light
You can add ZoneAlarm Firewall, too, for a perfect pack.
Answer #21
As stated by u..stick with Avira free version. Incase if u change ur mind go for Kaspersky Internet security(U’ll find em in wbb).
