FSX troubles
January 26th, 2020
Anyway, I’m on a Intel core 2 duo E6400 @ 2.13 GHz, Geforce 7900GS and 1GB RAM. I play Crysis with less lag. It’s very bad performance and graphics wise.
What can I do? It looks AWFUL, and performs AWFUL.
your RAM and Video card , tip turn down the viwing distance under weather that kills frame rate
I had an overclocked E6600 and as soon as I opened a window in window, system would slow down real bad. I had 7950GX2 and 2 GIG Ram.
Make sure you don’t use picture in picture option.
Make sure you have the latest video, audio, and chipset drivers for your motherboard. Also, defragmenting your hard drive can help to reduce the loading times FSX is known to take the longest out all series before it. And maybe you can try reducing the game’s resolution and details, maybe then it’ll work properly.
I also highly suggest you also make some virus scans to just be sure that a virus or trojan isn’t causing it.
I suspect that your RAM is your main bottleneck. I have 4gb of ram and occasionally the game uses more than 3GB of system ram.
the game uses up so much ram as the graphic card wouldn’t have enough memory for the game. I manage to run FSX at about 11 fps on nearly full graphics with 2Gb ram on vista and a 8700gt graphic card with 2.4ghz laptop. So if u change the graphic card it shoud work better
Try this website it helped me heaps for FPS also maybe upgrade your RAM www.highflightsimulations.com
