Free texts within UK

Well I’m planing on changing my phone service to vodaphone which is unlimited but in the mean time I need to be able to send texts as many as I want, don’t care about ads and don’t mind waiting providing it will defiantly sent.
I’ve tried three different sites from google, one is pretty decent but sometimes it says try again in 8 minutes you try again and then it says try again it 9 minutes, another one sends a text but takes forever to recieve as I sent it to myself to see how long it would take and the last one says in description it would cost 5 pounds if someone wants to read thattext.
