Formatting my sd card makes it undetectable!

I just formatted my sd card that is in my phone on my computer, running windows 7. The format was taking FOREVER so i canceled it. Now trying to format it again i get told i do not have sufficient rights to run the format process and when i try anything else it says that the disk does not exist!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!

Try that Panasonic SD formatter.

try a quick format, you may need to eject and unplug and reconnect the card.
theres also HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool.

Windows keeps asking if i want to fix the disk

Hm sounds like that SD card has had it, if that don’t work there is a big chance that its dead.

This is the third one… Can it possible be the phone? With my other phone i never got such memory stick problems… but once i get this phone all hell seems to break loose…
edit : I can open up the disk.. but if i try to change/add anything it freezes and the disk needs “fixing”…

Hm, sounds highly possible. So what you could do is if those things have warranty, send it back. The store will sort it out.
Understand if this is the case its beyond your control.
